S. Korea's foreign currency deposit grows in June

SEOUL, July 23 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's foreign currency deposit grew for the second straight month due to strong demand for the U.S. and Chinese currencies, central bank data showed Wednesday. The deposit, denominated in foreign currencies, added 5.08 billion U.S. dollars from a month earlier to 106.44 billion dollars at the end of June, after mounting 5.10 billion dollars in the previous month, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).
