S. Korea's tax revenue rises in January-May

SEOUL, July 10 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's tax revenue rose for the first five months of this year on higher corporate and income taxes, government data showed Thursday. Tax revenue ran to 172.3 trillion won (125.6 billion U.S. dollars) in the cited period, up 21.3 trillion won (15.5 billion dollars) compared to the same period of last year, according to the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
