Frankfurt (dpa-AFX) - European shares finished lower on Wednesday, handing back gains from the previous session as the fragile Iran-Israel truce took hold. US President Donald Trump's Middle East envoy said late on Tuesday that talks between the US and Iran were "promising" and that Washington was hopeful for a long-term peace deal.
