German energy companies plan mega battery park

Essen, Germany (dpa) - One of Germany's largest battery storage facilities is to be built in the Ruhr region in the coming years. Energy companies Trianel, Luxcara and BKW are planning a storage facility in Waltrop in the west of the country with an initial capacity of 900 megawatts, Trianel announced on Wednesday.
