BEIJING, June 17 (RIA Novosti) - Attempts by Taiwan's ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) to win favors from the United States by placing Chinese technology giants Huawei and SMIC on the export control list will only hurt the island, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Tuesday.
