YANGON, June 15 (Xinhua) -- A total of 16 hotels in Myanmar's Mandalay region have collapsed due to the 7.9-magnitude earthquake in central Myanmar, the state-owned daily The Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Sunday. The Myanmar Hotelier Association is compiling a list of hotels, motels, and guesthouses damaged by the earthquake to assess their eligibility for reconstruction loans, the report said.
