Israeli army claims killing of 5 militants in Gaza Strip

JERUSALEM, May 31 (Xinhua) -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement on Saturday that it killed five militants during operations in the Gaza Strip over the past day. According to the statement, a combat team from the IDF's Paratroopers Brigade identified four armed individuals in an adjacent area on Friday and killed them during the confrontation.
