Berlin (dpa) - Energy consumption in Germany rose significantly in the first quarter of 2025 due to cold weather and a lack of wind. The Energy Summaries Working Group (AGEB), which collects data on energy consumption in Germany, said on Tuesday that 5.5% more energy was used in the first three months of the year compared to the same period in 2024.
