WINDHOEK, 28 MAY (NAMPA) - President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah said the 1904-1908 Genocide Remembrance Day should be a powerful reminder of the shared results to continue the path of nation building, reconciliation, and healing of past wounds.
Nandi-Ndaitwah was speaking at the inaugural Genocide Remembrance Day in the capital on Wednesday, saying: "This day must always remind us to recognise what our great ancestors endured in defence of this land...
