Würzburg, Germany (dpa) - German construction materials supplier Knauf on Wednesday denied assisting the Russian government, following a media report to the effect that it was providing materials for nuclear weapons bases in the country. The company, based in Iphofen to the south-east of Frankfurt, has come in for repeated criticism for maintaining facilities in Russia following the invasion of Ukraine more than three years ago.
