Vietnamese National Assembly sets election date for new term

HANOI, May 21 (Xinhua) -- The Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) has officially set March 15, 2026, as the date for the next national election, the Vietnam News Agency reported Wednesday. The election will determine deputies for the 16th NA and members of People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
