WINDHOEK, 08 MAY (NAMPA) – President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, who is the Commander-in-Chief of the Namibian Defence Force, inspected the Shaanxi Y-9E aircraft at a formal ceremony held at Hosea Kutako International Airport on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Ministry of Defence, the aircraft was procured from China in November last year and represents a significant boost to the operational capacity of the Namibian Air Force.
