Trustco’s Meya Mining recovers 391-carat diamond in Sierra Leone

WINDHOEK, 28 AUG (NAMPA) – Meya Mining, a company in which Trustco Group Holdings Ltd holds a 19.5 per cent interest, has recovered a 391.45-carat diamond in Sierra Leone.
The Trustco Group in a statement said the diamond was found in the Kono District on 20 August 2024. Meya holds a 25-year exclusive diamond mining licence in the Kono District, covering the Kamara Gbense and Tankoro chiefdoms.
