The Namibia Press Agency, (NAMPA), was established in 1991 as a national news agency responsible for the distribution of local, regional and international news.

NAMPA Erongo Regional Bureau

The Erongo Regional Bureau is based in the town of Swakopmund, located some 300 kilometers from the capital Windhoek towards the West of Namibia along the coastline.

The office is responsible for providing news and events coverage for towns such as Walvis Bay, Henties Bay, Arandis, Usakos and Karibib.

The news agency also provides news coverage to villages, farms and settlements in the Erongo Region such as Utuseb, Uis and Okambahe amongst others.
