The EU Parliament is expected to discuss the current peace talks in the Ukraine war. The participation of EU Commission President von der Leyen in this debate has been announced. MEPs will also decide on the simplification of the EU deforestation law and the final parts of the EU budget for next year. Parliament also wants to adopt a proposal that simplifies the reporting obligations of the InvestEU program and expands its financial capacities. It will also vote on a report on the EU's diplomatic strategy and geopolitical cooperation in the Arctic and a report on access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises and expanding start-ups.
