(260121) -- XIAMEN, Jan. 21, 2026 (Xinhua) -- An aerial drone photo taken on Jan. 20, 2026 shows a night view of the Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport in Xiamen, southeast China's Fujian Province. Construction of the Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport has entered a critical phase involving completion acceptance, flight tests and calibrations, and relocation preparations. With its operation slated for late 2026, the airport will be able to handle 45 million passengers, 750,000 tonnes of cargo and mail, as well as 380,000 aircraft take-offs and landings on a yearly basis.
