French hotel group Accor, whose shares slumped in Paris on March 19, 2026, denied any involvement in trafficking adults or children for exploitation and ordered an internal inquiry. Accor's shares fell more than eight percent on the Paris stock market following the release on March 19, 2026 of allegations by US short seller Grizzly Research that it was engaged in people smuggling.
