AfD's Weidel demands end to firewall after latest breakthrough

Berlin (dpa) - Alice Weidel, the co-leader of the Alternative for Germany (AfD), celebrated on Tuesday after a lawmaker from the far-right party was elected as parliamentary speaker in the eastern state of Saxony-Anhalt.  Weidel told journalists in Berlin that the AfD was confident that Tobias Rausch would be elected with a clear majority in the newly constituted parliament in Magdeburg, one month after the party's resounding victory in the state......
