Nandi-Ndaitwah confirms 127 FMD cases

WINDHOEK, 06 OCT (NAMPA) – President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has confirmed 127 cases of Foot and Mouth Disease across 15 farms in the Karasburg Veterinary District, saying surveillance teams are inspecting 29 313 animals on 68 farms.
Nandi-Ndaitwah said in a statement issued by the Presidency late on Monday that 20 surveillance teams had been constituted and 10 roadblocks are established across the ||Kharas Region to support the response.
