Brussels (dpa-AFX) - Eurozone producer price inflation accelerated in August as energy prices surged, data from Eurostat, the EU's statistical office, showed on Monday. Producer prices rose 8.2% year on year in August, following a 5.8% increase in July. Economists had forecast annual growth of 8.1%.
