Türkiye seizes some 986 kg of narcotics in nationwide operations

ANKARA, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- Some 986 kg of narcotics and nearly 1.54 million narcotic pills were seized in recent operations across Türkiye, the Turkish Interior Ministry said Saturday. According to a statement released by the ministry, operations were carried out by provincial police departments in 75 provinces, in coordination with the General Directorate of Security's Anti-Narcotics Department and the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices.
