German Defense Minister Says Number of People Wishing to Serve in German Army Increased

MOSCOW, September 24 (RIA Novosti) - The number of people wishing to enlist in the German armed forces has increased by almost 30% in 2026 compared to last year, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said. "By the end of August this year, we had already recorded around 17,000 new enlistments. This is 13% more than in the same month last year. Regarding applications for service, the increase compared to last year is almost 30%," Pistorius sai......
