OECD lifts forecasts for global growth

Paris (dpa) - The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), a policy forum for industrialized nations, has slightly raised its forecast for the global economy this year, projecting growth of 2.9%. For the eurozone, the OECD predicted growth of 1%, also higher than a previous forecast in June.
