Herbal practices blamed for women sepsis cases at Nankudu Hospital

NKURENKURU, 23 SEP (NAMPA) - Kavango West Chief Registered Nurse Adeline Kudumo has raised concern that herbal practices among women in the Nkurenkuru district are to blame for 40% of sepsis cases recorded at Nankudu District Hospital.
Kudumo, in an interview with Nampa on Tuesday, said many women arrive late at the hospital with severe infections linked to the use of traditional herbs after childbirth, miscarriage or abortion.
