PBOC to issue 60 bln yuan of RMB bills in Hong Kong

HONG KONG, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced on Monday that the People's Bank of China (PBOC) will issue six-month Renminbi Bills through the HKMA's Central Moneymarkets Unit. According to the HKMA, the six-month RMB bills, totaling 60 billion yuan (about 8.95 billion U.S. dollars), will mature and pay interest on March 29, 2027.
