Portugal producer prices rise at fastest pace since February 2023

Lisbon (dpa-AFX) - Portugal's producer price inflation accelerated in August to its highest level in three and a half years, data from Statistics Portugal showed on Friday. Producer prices rose 7.2% year-on-year in August, up from 5.7% in July and marking the fastest increase since February 2023, when prices climbed 9.3%.
