Eritrean migrants have told AFP they are subjected to rape, torture, extortion and murder in Libyan detention centres despite hundreds of millions of euros in EU money designed to improve conditions and prevent them reaching Europe. Thousands of young Eritreans have fled the Horn of Africa country to escape a brutal dictatorship under President Isaias Afwerki that imposes indefinite military service which the United Nations has likened to slavery......
