U.S. stocks fall as Fed begins policy meeting

NEW YORK, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended lower on Tuesday as investors braced for a widely expected interest rate hike from the Federal Reserve on Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 328.09 points, or 0.63 percent, to 52,093.11. The S&P 500 sank 34.25 points, or 0.45 percent, to 7,585.73.
