Frankfurt airport worker dies of malaria after mosquito bite

Frankfurt (dpa) - An employee at Frankfurt Airport has died after contracting malaria, with imported mosquitoes said to be the cause of the infection. "Our deepest sympathies go to the relatives of the deceased," a spokesman for airport operator Fraport said on Wednesday. In mid-July, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) confirmed an outbreak of four malaria cases among airport employees between July 4 and July 6. It said the infection was believed......
