Colombia Humanitarian Appeal Collects Less Than Half of $620Mln Requested - UN Spokesman

UNITED NATIONS, August 26 (RIA Novosti) - The $620 million humanitarian relief appeal launched by the United Nations to assist Colombia following the deadly earthquake that struck the country has been funded at less than half, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on Wednesday. "Our humanitarian appeal for Colombia now stands at $620 million, but it's only 47% funded," Dujarric said during a press briefing. "Additional support is urgently needed​​​......
