China's Zhipu AI, 32 other Chinese stocks added to key index

BEIJING, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Global index provider MSCI on Wednesday unveiled the results of its August 2026 index review, adding 33 Chinese companies, including Zhipu AI, to the MSCI China Index. Zhipu AI, a Beijing-based leading Chinese AI model firm, was among the three largest additions to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index by full company market capitalization, underscoring global index funds' growing interest in China's AI sector.
