Norway's sovereign wealth fund, the world's largest, on Wednesday reported a return on investments of $185 billion in the first half, recovering from heavy losses seen in the first three months of the year. The 9.4 percent return -- the highest in the fund's history when calculated in Norwegian kroner -- was due largely to its shareholdings in Asian tech firms, which have powered ahead on massive demand for artificial intelligence gear.
