Essen, Germany (dpa) - Germany's heating sector sold 352,000 heating systems in the first half-year, up 19% on the year, the German Heating Industry Association (BDH) reported in Cologne on Tuesday. The figure includes 194,500 heat pumps, up 40%, 134,000 gas heating systems, up 1%, 9,500 oil-fired heating systems, down 11%, and 14,000 biomass heating systems, down 1%.
