Teenager hospitalized after western Sydney shooting

SYDNEY, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- A teenager has been hospitalized after he was shot in a suspected targeted attack in western Sydney on Thursday night. A police statement on Friday said that officers were called to reports of a shooting in the western Sydney suburb of Greenacre around 9 p.m. local time on Thursday and were told on arrival that an 18-year-old man had been shot twice in the chest before being driven from the scene.
