MOSCOW, August 6 (RIA Novosti) - The United States has denied Ukraine's request to appoint former Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov as ambassador to Washington, Ukrainian lawmaker Oleksiy Goncharenko (designated as a terrorist and extremist in Russia) said on Thursday.
