MOSCOW, August 6 (RIA Novosti) - The French national meteorological service, Meteo-France, declared on Thursday an orange heatwave alert in eight departments of the country. The departments of Ardeche, Rhone, Var, Alpes-Maritimes, Corse-du-Sud, Gard, Vaucluse and Drome are among those affected, according to the map released by the service.
