Zalando reports lower Q2 net income; narrows full-year guidance

Berlin (dpa) - European online fashion retailer Zalando reported second-quarter net income of ?73.8 million ($84.9 million), down from ?96.6 million a year earlier. Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose 10% year-on-year to ?205 million. Group revenue increased 20.8% to ?3.42 billion, while gross merchandise volume (GMV) grew 20.7% on a reported basis to ?4.9 billion.
