MOSCOW, July 30 (RIA Novosti) - Deliveries for the US Navy’s nine next-generation Block VI Virginia-class attack submarines reportedly approved for General Dynamics will not begin until April 2035 and will stretch through July 2038, locking the military into build spans of up to 127 months per vessel amid ongoing shipyard delays, according to a RIA Novosti correspondent's analysis of the Navy's fiscal year 2027 budget report.
