Temporary roof erected following fatal hospital fire in Germany

Hamburg (dpa) - A temporary roof covering the burnt-out roof of a hospital in the northern German town of Ludwigslust has been put in place. A spokeswoman for the Ludwigslust-Parchim local authority told dpa that the work was completed on Thursday afternoon. The fire broke out at 4:29 am (0229 GMT) on Thursday in a room on the vascular surgery ward. One of the two people who later died is believed to have been in that room, whilst the second was......
