Frankfurt (dpa) - A police officer shot and critically injured a man at a house in the German state of Hesse on Thursday evening, police said. Officers had gone to see the 66-year-old man in northern Hesse on suspicion of drink-driving and were threatened by him with a firearm, police said in a statement.
