Illegal Migration to Spain Decreases by Almost Third in 6 Months - Interior Ministry

MOSCOW, July 2 (RIA Novosti) - More than 12,000 illegal migrants arrived in Spain in the first half of 2026, a 32.5% decrease compared to the same period last year, the Spanish Interior Ministry said. According to the ministry, 12,138 people arrived in Spain illegally from January 1 to June 30, compared to 17,990 the previous year.
