An Algerian national was found guilty Wednesday of attempted murder after a trial into a 2023 Dublin knife attack that injured multiple children and sparked rioting and looting. Riad Bouchaker, 52, who is also an Irish citizen, had denied all eight charges arising from the attack outside a school in central Dublin on November 23, 2023, which left a five-year-old girl and a woman in her 30s in a critical condition.
