German companies holding back on investment despite strong demand

Frankfurt (dpa) - An analysis by German development bank KfW published on Wednesday found a large gap between companies' need to invest and their actual intentions to do so. A large majority of 92% of the 1,567 companies surveyed between the beginning of March and the end of April saw a need to invest, while just 62% intended to implement projects over the 12 months ahead.
