Wall Street stocks were mixed early Tuesday in a cautious open to the concluding session of a buoyant semester for US equities. The broad-based S&P 500 has gained nearly nine percent in the first half of 2026, reflecting confidence in the artificial intelligence boom that has offset concerns about the US-Iran war and the surge in oil prices.
