Danish global shipping giant Maersk expects its full-year earnings to be at least $1 billion higher than previously anticipated due to strong demand from the Far East ahead of new US tariffs. The company said late Monday that its underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) would likely reach $8-10 billion in 2026, compared to its previous forecast of $4.5-7 billion.
