BEIRUT, June 1 (RIA Novosti) - Israeli warplanes struck 41 settlements in southern and eastern Lebanon on Sunday, a Lebanese military field commander told RIA Novosti on Monday. "Enemy aircraft carried out strikes on 40 settlements in the south and one village in the east of the country over the past day," the commander said.
