Cancer survivor Grohs to leave Bayern women

Munich (dpa) - Goalkeeper Mala Grohs, who battled back from cancer to play professional football again, will leave Bayern Munich women's team at the end of the season. The 24-year-old was diagnosed with a malign tumour in her tonsils and underwent surgery in December 2024. She returned in March 2025 in the Champions League against Olympique Lyon.
