US firm Rocket Lab acquires German laser radio pioneer Mynaric

Munich (dpa) - The German high-tech start-up Mynaric has been taken over by US group Rocket Lab. The takeover of the Munich-based laser radio manufacturer has been approved by Germany's Ministry for Economic Affairs, Rocket Lab announced on Monday. The group put the purchase price at ?155 million ($135 million). The price will not be paid entirely in cash but will consist largely of Rocket Lab shares.
