UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Monday denied misleading parliament over the appointment of disgraced Labour politician Peter Mandelson as Britain's ambassador to the US. "I did not mislead the House of Commons," Starmer insisted to MPs, adding he accepted, however, that both he and parliament should have been given information by the Foreign Office that Mandelson's security clearance had been denied. jkb/har/rmb ...
