One of the world's smallest nations, Tuvalu, declared a state of emergency Monday due to "credible risks" to its fuel supply stemming from the war in the Middle East. In a statement published on Monday evening, Tuvalu's head of state Tofiga Vaevalu Falani said the state of emergency would be restricted to the nation's main island, Funafuti.
